NEW DATE for the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival! Due to the predicted rain forecast for Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Surfside Beach Tree Lighting Festival has been rescheduled for Monday, December 4, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Annual Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting Festival is almost here! 

Date: Monday, December 4, 2023

Time:  4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Lakewood Elementary School Chorus performs at 4:15 p.m. 

• The Entertainers Band will kick off at 5:00 p.m. 

• The Lighting of the Christmas Tree is at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Memorial Park (Surfside Dr. & N Willow Dr., Surfside Beach, SC, 29575)

Jingle all the way to the Town of Surfside Beach for the merriest event of the year: The Christmas Tree Lighting! Santa himself will lead the way on Friday, Dec. 2, as we light up the night sky with the most magnificent tree in town.

But that's not all! Brace yourself for a chorus of angelic voices from the Lakewood Elementary School Chorus and toe-tapping tunes from The Entertainers. And if that's not enough to keep you jolly, snag a family photo with Mr. Jolly himself, Santa Claus on Santa's sleigh, decorate gingerbread cookies, or get your face painted like a Christmas character!

Feeling peckish? No worries! Sample the most scrumptious bites from our event vendors while you browse for that perfect gift. Come one, come all, and make this a night to remember with your loved ones. After all, Santa Clause, activities for the kiddos, good food, live music, shopping, and great fun are all on the menu!
